The Ekovore 800L-155 individual composter is the largest capacity model in the Ekovore range. Designed for large gardens, community gardens, and small collective projects, it processes a significant volume of organic waste thanks to its integrated compost started bed, which activates composting immediately upon installation through microorganisms and worms in living soil. Its 155 cm height and sloping base allow for gravity-fed emptying directly into a container located under the front access door. Rodent-proof on all six sides, it works on all types of soil. Made in France and delivered as a kit, it can be assembled with just a screwdriver equipped with a Phillips head bit.
How it works: the compost started bed
The compost started bed is the biological engine of the composter. When setting it up, fill it with living soil—a few shovelfuls of garden soil or mature compost are enough. This introduces the microorganisms, worms, and microfauna that decompose organic waste. Regularly check the moisture level and mix the compost to maintain biological activity. Ergonomics and rodent protection
The sloping base and legged design allow for gravity-fed emptying directly into a container placed under the front access door, without lifting. The structure completely encloses all six sides of the composter, preventing rodents from accessing it. This design distinguishes it from open or wooden composters, which are poorly suited to urban and suburban environments.

Technical characteristics
To ensure long-lasting durability, the wood panels are made of 21mm thick Douglas fir, untreated and naturally rot-resistant. A gap is maintained between each board to allow for complete peripheral aeration and promote aerobic fermentation. Its frame is made of corrosion-resistant sheet steel. The composter is supplied as a self-assembly kit with assembly instructions.
The necessary tools (not included) are a power drill or a Phillips screwdriver.
