To ensure long-lasting durability, the wood panels are made of 21mm thick Douglas fir, untreated and naturally rot-resistant.
A gap is maintained between each board to allow for complete peripheral aeration and promote aerobic fermentation.

Does the 300L-125 composter work on concrete or impermeable ground?
Yes. Its design on legs with a seeding table allows it to work on any type of ground, including concrete or paved, without direct contact with the soil.
Why is it necessary to feed the seed table?
The seeding table is the biological engine of the composter. It must be supplied with living soil at the time of installation — a shovelful of garden soil or mature compost is sufficient — to introduce the microorganisms and worms that will decompose the organic waste.
Is the compost bin really protected from rodents?
Yes. The structure is closed on all six sides, with no openings accessible to rodents. This is one of the major differences compared to open or wooden composters, which offer little resistance to pests.
