Description
The NPK men’s urinal is a waterless, dry toilet designed for private homes, communal housing and public buildings. It collects urine at source in an autonomous and hygienic manner, without the need for a connection to the mains water supply. Each model can be installed as a standalone unit in existing washrooms or integrated into the complete NPK system — comprising a female urinal, a male urinal and a stainless steel front-mounted tank — in both new builds and refurbishments. The collected urine can be recycled as agricultural fertiliser rich in nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium.

Can be used as a stand-alone unit or as part of a system
NPK urinals operate without water and can be installed as standalone units or as part of a complete system. Each component can be supplied separately, allowing facility managers to tailor the configuration to their building and budget. For more details on the tank, please visit the page dedicated to the NPK urine tank.
The complete NPK system: three modular components
- NPK dry urinal for men
- NPK dry urinal for women
- Stainless steel wall-mounted tank for urine storage

Collection at source and recycling
In communal housing, the two urinals are connected to a tank installed in a utility room or on the edge of the communal area. The collected urine can then be used as a natural fertiliser rich in nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P) and potassium (K) — hence the name NPK. To find out more about urine recycling, visit the Réseau d’Assainissement Écologique (RAE).

Wall-mounted tank: secure storage and simplified maintenance
The external tank is made of stainless steel. It ensures reliable urine storage and allows easy access for routine maintenance. It can be installed in a plant room or on the building’s exterior, depending on the building’s layout.
