The MIXT uritrottoir is an inclusive public dry toilet designed for new uses of public space.
From the outset, its designers took into account issues of gender, modesty and safety.
The facility offers a female urinal and a male urinal combined in a solution accessible to all.
A concrete response to gender and inclusion issues

It provides a urinal for women and a urinal for men in order to meet the needs of all users.
Local authorities are therefore installing public facilities that respect diversity of use and improve the social acceptability of urban toilets.
Enhanced modesty and security
Secondly, the design of the MIXT uritrottoir places modesty at the forefront.
A single cabin, divided in two by a central technical room, guarantees privacy for each user.
In addition, the women’s cubicle is equipped with a locking system, which enhances security and allows it to be used at any time, including in the evening.
Comfort of use and daily hygiene
To improve comfort, the ladies’ cubicle has a dispenser for sanitary towels and toilet paper.
In addition, both cabins are equipped with bins and hand sanitiser.
Thanks to these features, the MIXT uritrottoir ensures a high level of hygiene and a quality user experience.
Robustness and adaptable operation
The teams designed the MIXT uritrottoir entirely in stainless steel, ensuring robustness, durability and ease of cleaning.
Depending on the installation context, the equipment operates autonomously thanks to a 400-litre tank or connects directly to the sewerage system.
In autonomous mode, operators can recycle the collected urine as fertiliser, in line with the principles of the circular economy promoted by the
Réseau d’Assainissement Écologique – RAE.
Simplified maintenance for local authorities
Finally, the designers have simplified maintenance for cleaning services.
Side doors provide access to a single technical area, facilitating urine pumping and consumable replenishment.
